People who think they're smarter than they really are.

As you've read, i'm very opinionated. I think opinions are a great thing. Tell me your opinions, I'll listen to them, I may think they're crap, but i'll listen. I know that in my other posts I say, "I'm right, you're wrong, just live with it". I say that 90% of the time in jest. What I truly mean is, that my opinions are mine, feel free to share yours with me, but don't try to convince me that your opinion is better just because you say so. If you can support your opinion with hard facts that prove my opinion is wrong. Super duper dandy, you may convince me, but it's unlikely.

If you haven't caught on, i'm a web developer. I'll be the first to admit, that of the team of 4 developers, myself included, i'm probably the least astute of the bunch. When there's some easy stuff to get out of the way, i'm the go-to guy. Now, I can do the difficult stuff, but it'll take me twice as long, and I usually have to ask for help from one or more of the other guys in my team. But, I feel my strong suit, is my ability to admit that freely. I think one of the biggest faults any one can have in any industry, is being to proud to ask for help. That's when people fall into the category of thinking they're smarter than they really are. Don't be so cocky and arrogant that you can't admit that someone around may have a better idea, or may be better at something than you. It'll just make you look like more of a jackass in the long run.

Now, on the other hand, when it comes to pure out and out good looks, I'm the best looking, best dressed, all the girls want me, mother f*&%er in any room. Now, any person with eyesight of 100x100 or better can argue with that, but when it comes to self-image, the better looking you 'think' you are, the farther you'll go in life. Confidence does not equal arrogance and vice versa. Realize the possibility of your idiocy, but KNOW you're GQ material, and you'll go farther in life than most.

Thank you and have a great day.
